I know, tiny, but it works!! The other side that you can't see is the laundry... washer, dryer and large sink.

    6 rack breeder tubs

All this awesomeness equates into about 2/3rds of my rat population.

I use sterilite tubs for ASF's, and hope to stop using the tank after this litter is weaned. I think they are the.... 66 qt? They have a large foot print. The hopper is attached to the lid, water bottle holes melted onto the sides like you can see in the pics...

They get chew blocks and seeds and stuff to keep em busy. They also all have a wheel and double dog each other to hang onto the outside while they run madly to no where. :P

How difficult was it putting the wire mesh in the lid?
Hmm, they don't chew out of it or anything?

I zip tie it to the lid after I cut out a nice large square for the best circulation.

I have never seen them even attempt to chew out or the evidence of it. There isn't really any reason for them too, they have many other things to chew and keep entertained with.

I got the set up idea from Tekwarren at his forum, it's worked really well for me.

My asf don't bite either, so that may be a clue? Not really sure... they are all pretty handleable and my fawn girl even greets me for treats.

That's amazing Connie. How many snakes do you have anyway? And how does that watering system work (ie whats at the tub end of each tube)?

Well, we will have 21 tomorrow. :P

There is a small sipper valve at the end of the tubes, I have the watering system on top. It's gravity fed, you can find directions for them in our DIY sticky section.

This maternity rack is actually MarkS's design. I believe the breeder rack is too... can't remember.

Nah, mine don't bite or anything.
Alright I'm definitely going to steal your idea, as I really don't feel like buying 2 more 10gallons..
Where does everyone get their wire mesh from though? I can't find the stuff anywhere. D:

I used 1/2" hardware cloth for it all, but I know that it may be a fault in judgement when the breeders all go to tubs! Oh well, we'll cross that bridge if it comes.

I buy hardware cloth from Tractor supply. I'd use 1/2" for the food hoppers, and 1/4" for the tops.

I'll get a better pic tonight of what I did... Gots to go home now!
