so i am about three weeks from buying my first ball python. i got a 30 gal set-up that i made following the bp husbandary guide. I am getting a ball python that hatched in mid-may. my main question is how big is he going to be? 6in, 2 ft. just wondering

30g is going to be way too large for a small mid-may hatchling.
He probably won't be over 200g and probably less than a foot? But it depends on his growth rate and feeding schedule.
A 30g is perfect for an adult, but your cages are going to have to grow with your snake. :[ Large amounts of room can cause a lot of stress and make them not eat.. which is what happened to me.

your baby will prolly be around 16-20 inches and weigh 60 to 100 grams.30 gallon will be a bit big.10 gallon tank or a 12quart tup will be a superb home.
