    Green Anaconda not eating?
I bought a green anaconda a few weeks ago at the Cleveland reptile show. She's about 4 feet long and seems very healthy. The guy I bought it from said he had just got it days before so he didn't have any history on it. I've tried feeding her 3 times now and she wants nothing to do with any food I give her. Any ideas?

This is why I personally feel it's a bad idea to buy from most flippers. I'm not sure how picky Anacondas are, but without knowing what she was eating you will probably have to do a lot of trial and error.

Unfortunately most of the people here probably don't have a lot of experience with Anacondas so you will most likely get advice related to Balls. I would suggest that you get in contact with an Anaconda breeder and hopefully they could give you better advice. A good start would be with some of the larger breeders of different species such as NERD or VPI.

    Good luck!

I actually wrote an article on feeding picky anacondas, I'm not sure why the link doesn't work on my site, but if you shoot me a PM I'd be happy to send you the PDF file.

    Thanks,
