    so how long should one wait before popping a baby that just emerged from the egg?:snake:

    I pop mine once they emerge from their egg. :salute:

    really?

    they seem pretty delicate to do so. i guess you have to be really gentle or you could kink or injure them.

    If you do it gently, you can do it right after they pop out. I do it that way as well, but some people wait until after the first shed...

    After they are washed up and all that I very gently pop them and then repeat it a couple of more times after their shed and before I'll be sending them off to their new homes. It's hard popping those newly hatched ones for me. Their first skin is so slick, almost no friction to grasp to....it felt very odd the first couple I did.

    thanks guys! i think ill wait untill after their first shed at least. these guys are so tiny! they range from 47-52 grams. ill post pics up as soon as i can!

    I JUST took one out of the egg box, washed it off, and popped it before putting it into the hatchling rack.
    It's a girl. Gotta love it when the first one out is a girl.
