how to get ahold of them?

so since i live in a relatively small area and im sure noone breeds asf's anywhere near here, is there a way i can buy some from another breeder and have them shipped live so i can start a little colony? i've got some picky eaters that i want to try them out on.

I'm pretty sure most people wont ship em. I just went up to NERD last week to grabs a few myself. Try googling ASF forums, you may be able to find someone on there.

you may want to be more discreet as ASFR's are illegal in ca. regulatory agencies have been known to scan forums.have fun !

Show are probably your best bet, but like the other poster said illegal in California. So that right there pretty much makes them hard to get I would assume in that area.

well that nips my plans in the bud! i didnt know asf's were illegal in cali. i knew ferrets were, but asf's? hmm. craziness. thanks for all the replies though!! :D:taz::banana:
