Spokane is on fire!!!

well spokane is on fire, i live in spokane about 3 miles from the evac zone. im kinda scared that we might have to evacuate. i dont know how we'll fit everyone in the cars to leave in a safe manner. we've got 8 snakes (ones more than six feet) 2 geckos 2 beardies 2 tortoises 4 rats 2 cats one dog and 3 people and about $300 in fish.
i figure the fish will probably be a total loss which is unfortunate cause i love all my fishies. its pretty scary. hopefully we dont have to evacuate everything but if we do we have a safe place to go. its just getting there cause once you leave the zone you cant come back in so its not like we could make 2 trips. oh well i hope everyone who has already evacuated is ok and there arent too many losses of any kind of life.

Good luck. Have your emergency critter containers and pillow cases for snakes lined up in advance. It may sound rediculous but run through a mock drill on what steps you need to take and where everyone will go in the car. Have supples such as pillow cases and clean box or tub at the ready. Hopefully you won't have to use them. Sometimes when they call for an evacuation you are so stressed you need things thought out in advance.

What started the fire? I have family in Spokane I should probably call...
