    Last clutch hatched
Well, the hatching season is over here. I got only 3 clutches of eggs from the balls(plus the tegu lizard clutch - see other thread), and I ended up with all poss hets, or normals.

Clutch #1 : 11 eggs, 7.4 poss het clowns. I originally thought it was 5.6, but a recheck showed more hemipenes.. bummer. I already sold 5 of these as normals locally. All sold had fed 3 times.

Clutch #2 : 3 eggs, 1.2 poss het pieds. 1 has shed so far, and the other two are about to. These 3 hatchlings weighed in at 64-67 grams each, and were just FAT looking.

Clutch #3 : 5 eggs, unsexed so far. These hatched slightly early(by my oft-faulty calander) and all 5 are fat heathy looking normals. I hoped for spiders or pastels, but unless someone is the lousiest pastel ever.. all normal.

So, a disappointing year for morph production, BUT.. I did have 100% hatch rate. Also, 9 of the 11 egg clutch ate the first try on rat pinks. I only have ONE holdout who hasn't fed from clutch #1.
Clutch #1 was also full of fancy patterns, almost like black pastels, without the chocolatey coloration.

Too bad about the odds, but congrats on all the plusses and the victories.

Must feel great everytime you hatch out a healthy babe... and you JUST know those two females are het pieds. :)
