How do I go about selling my snake?

I have a great 6ft. male tangarine honduran milksnake that I'd like to sell, but I have no idea how to do it. I don't care much about the money (although I'd like to know what to ask for), I just want to find him a good home. I also live in Southern California and would prefer not to have to ship him.

Any suggestions?

Pennysaver, local newspaper, "adoption fee" craigslist ad... that's about it locally.

You could ask around at a local herp society.
