Local News Story: A python got run over by a car :(
Hey guys one of my friends at work just sent this to me. I thought I'd pass it along.

WMUR story on python being rescued

Looks like a retic to me by the patterns and size but I can't really be sure since they don't show the head very well in the pictures. The poor guy got run over by a car! If I had a place to put it I would be calling up the Concord SPCA to see about adopting it but sadly, I do not. If anyone in the area does you should call them!

I guess it was a good thing they were able to treat it and save it. If it were to survive the Summer there is no way it would survive up there during the Winter. If you find out if anyone adopts the Burm! Let us know!

Yeah I'd be surprised at it lasting long just in the summer time. The temps still get down to 40-50 at night. I'll keep my eyes open and see if anyone comes forward to claim it.

It would be kind of nice if it was just that it got away and someone is out there looking for it but at the same time it was in a very rural area which makes me think that it was probably someone taking it out to release it because it got too big for them.

Oh thanks Pat for the correction on the type :) I'm still learnin my snakes :D
