Moms genes played a role?
I think this is what spiders should look like. Nice high white sides,gold dorsal,and thin "webs".

The normal mom has some spider like stripes.

As in all reproduction, both parents genes play a role...
This is why selective breeding is key!

005 is my pick too! I love how so much of the dorsal is just one solid stripe! Pretty!
Selective breeding definitely is very important. Right now it seems like most people in BPs aren't doing it much. I think (and HOPE!) in the future that will change.
