    breeding question
    hi
    i read somewhere that you can interbreed species of boa constrictors. is this true? i think a red tail x argentine would look beautiful and would like to make some but i dont want to take the chance of them not being able to do it. what do you think?

    They can breed. BCO x BCI has been done many times. I'm not for it, but to each their own.

    why do you not think its a good idea? do you think its detrimental to the snake or just not a nice pairing?
    (btw, ive seen the snakes you produce and they are beautiful)

    I'm sorry it took so long to get back to this. I just don't believe in crossing 2 snakes that would never reproduce in the wild AT ALL. It's not that I frown on people doing it though. It's just something I won't do.
