Has anyone gone to the reptile show in Grand Rapids, Michigan before?

Has anyone gone to the herp show in Grand Rapids before? I'm thinking about going soon and was wondering what comments people had about it. :snake:

Attendance was lacking last time I attended. I stopped going after a few shows because of the small amount of Vendors. That was back last summer. I know the guy that runs it is nice and works hard, but it just seems really small for a long drive.

If your close by, cant hurt to check it out.

Yeah, since I live a half an hour away I figured I'd go even if it sucked. I just wanted to know if I was going to have to bring money because I'd be falling in love with every animal there. xD

Did you see any Ball Pythons when you went?

I think... there was only 3 vendors with a small assortment of BP's. One was Billingsley, who I'm pretty sure was just there by chance, and I dont quite remember the other two. One was a kid, and the other may have been the Newtist. (i think that was his name)

I did get my first 2 snakes from the grand rapids show, one from billingsley, and one from a BP.net member.

I seem to remember a lot of inverts and amphibians, and a corn snake vendor.

Also, I forgot to mention that Gary Orner (pro-herps) is usually there also with a bunch of ball pythons...
