baby bearded dragons not growing
My baby bearded dragons hatched around a month or so ago.My question is it unnormal for them to only be around three inches from nose to the base of their tail.Im constantly throwing crickets in their and they eat wonderful.I even got a 10.00 reptisun tube setup in their with them.I just keep hearing that they could be around 5 inches by now.Could they just be slow growers?

I know BD's need a varied diet and plenty of calcium supplements. Why not outline your feeding and hydrating regimen in detail to help us?
Re: baby bearded dragons not growing
Feeding is 3 to 4 times a day and they are misted every otherday also their is always salad and they:D get calcium every time they have crickets.
Re: baby bearded dragons not growing
A few questions:
1. How old is the uvb tube?
2. what brand of calcium and vits are you using?
3. How many crickets are they each eating aday( answer should be around 50 each)
4. What size crickets?
Also, they need to be misted more often, if you are only misting them every other day they are only drinking every other day and that is a problem.
Re: baby bearded dragons not growing
The tube is only around a month and a half old and im using rep cal i was misting them daily but they werent sticking their tongues out and drinking it so i started to do it every other day and there definatly eating enough because i feed them until they wont eat no more. Also my petstore is going to buy all 15 of tommorro for 35.00 a piece and their just under three inches does that sound like a good deal;)
Re: baby bearded dragons not growing
you really shouldn't sell them until they are seven inches, and not to a pet store for obvious reasons unless it specializes in reptiles. But do what you want to do.
Re: baby bearded dragons not growing
when your saying seven inches are you talking about nose to end of tail or nose to base of tail because almost all of them are almost 7 inches total in length and isnt the rule 3 to 4 inches from tip of nose to base of tail is the time to sell them
