    hi i am new!
    Hi everybody!
    :)
I just thought I would introduce myself. I am Fiona and live in Stockport, UK and have joined today.

I don't yet own a ball python. I wanted to try and do a bit of research first. Got a couple of nice books too. It is great to look at everybody's pictures and find out how they find owning a ball python.

Hopefully at some point soon, I will be posting to say I have a new friend. :snake:

    Take care from Fiona

Thanks for the welcomes and quick replies. No doubt I will think of questions to ask, but I am getting an idea of things at the mo (i think). Like with anything, I guess you guys never stop learning about snakes. :snake:

That is the nice things about snakes.... you learn to become alot of things...

    Carpenter
    Vet Tech
    Electrician
    Mid-Wife

The list goes on and on...

Welcome and it is always GREAT to see new owner learning prior to doing the research. And if you decide that they are not the right snake for you... you can still hang around. :)

Yeah I did read on somebodys 'signature' that snakes are addictive! LOL.

You guys have not put me off yet! :D
Tell you what I learnt tonight... Old hat to you guys; but I saw pics of snakes with the cloudy-blue eyes. At least I know what that looks like, prior to shedding, as I expected it to be subtle.

There are two really great stickies here, Fiona. One is about the shedding process....

The other is about what to do if a shed goes a bit wrong.....
