    cut one open day 51
Day 51, I cut one of 10 open then I got a little scared. LOL I peeked inside...yep theres a snake in there. 9 more days. Why is it that the first 7 weeks went by so fast and the last ten days seem like forever?

Hi, Justin. They have 7 days to go now...I'm hoping the remaining eggs will begin to pip on their own in the next few days.
I may cut the rest on day 55(in 2 days) if I don't chicken out.
I can see that the one I cut is a spider, I'm really excited. I have a 12 space baby rack all ready to go. 6 qt sterilite with 3 inch heat tape. I need to come up with a good hide for each, and water dishes.
This one clutch will double my collection from 10 to 20 balls if they all make it.

You won't need a hide in the 6 qt tubs.
I place newly hatched ones in that size with a paper towel substrate and a water bowl. Once they have thir first shed, I use cypress. The 6 qt tubs are small enough that they should feel secure just in that.
I cut the last clutch on day 50 and the first one didn't come out until day 58. Longest 7 days ever just watching a head come out and go back in. :D

I was thinking they might be ok without a hide. I still need some small water bowls. Not sure what i'm going to use. Any suggestions?
How long should I keep them on wet paper towels? Till they shed?
I use newspaper for all my adults, would that be ok for hatchlings?

I use small ceramic bowls. A buck each at Walmart. They are brown on the outside and blue on the inside. You can find them in the pet aisle.
