    I need a link
Can I get a link where I can see all the different kinds of genetic morphs of GTP's. I want to buy from a good breeder who has just what I am looking for at a good price, preferably below $400. I have seen some for $250 and they are pretty. They just haven't gone through their color phase yet, and I don't know what they will look like when they are older. PLease help!

If breeders could tell what they will look like when they change, you'd see them keeping some back of what they sell. While you can get a good idea, you can't guarantee what they will look like.

Figure to pay a LOT more than what you're quoting if you want anything from other than green parents.

You can start at Greg Maxwell's site: www.finegtps.com
Also check out Rico Walder: www.signalherp.com

Those are both good places to start. I'd also visit iHerp and look at the Species gallery and the Breeding projects for GTPs. You'll get to see what people have and also what they're breeding. That could help, too.

Good luck! A nice chondro is on my list of "want to get", too!

There is only 1 genetic morph of GTP , albino. All the other appearances are not predictabley inheritable and are the result of multiple genes. These appearances will never be consitantly reproducable. They are merely the result of mixing the various GTP locality forms together for multiple generations.

also google "trooper walsh" or "trooper's basement mutts"... he was one of the pioneers of cross breeding locales and i believe there are several papers out on his selective breedings.

Try www.sprucenubblefarms.com they only sell green trees that are around the 2 year mark so they are sexed and most are out of there baby coloring. They have a really good guarantee and the snakes that have good temperment and are ok with handling are listed as such. You will pay more than your price range but you are getting a established animal with full records from the time it hatched. Good luck
