Possible Ovulation?

I have a question about this female I got a few months ago from a reputable breeder in New York. I palpated her while she was in quarantine to see what stage her follicles were at. They were pea-sized. After her month of Qtine was up, I started placing my Yellow Hypo male in with her, 3 days on, 4 days off. No locks were observed, but he may just be a sneaky male. He is a proven breeder and is over 900g.

I palpated her a few days ago and found 5-6 30mm+ follicles and she was very tight in that area(just uncomfy). I kept placing the male with her, never saw any locks. Yesterday, I went to remove the male and noticed she was built up in her back third. I palpated again and could just feel those big follicles, but not easily. Now today, she's bigger and tighter, and her tail is scrunched up.

So.. is she building or is this a small ovulation? She's a 66% poss het hypo(VPI line) and is over 2000g. I just hope she doesn't resorb because my male didn't get the job done.

It could be building, just being in with the male may of stimulated her.... I'd keep pairing myself and see what happens. Good luck!

Looks like something is going on... I still loooove that male BTW!

Are follicles usually that big when they are building? She seems very near either reabsorbing them or ovulating. They are a good 2.75-3cm. I'll put him in with her again tomorrow and see if there's any action.
