leaving my eggs... should i be worried?
so i have to attend a function in brooklyn on approx. day 50 of my clutches. i wont be able to return until day 51 or 52. should i be worried or do i still have a few more days until pipping and hatching??
Re: leaving my eggs... should i be worried?
The earliest I've ever had my bps come out of the eggs in 5+ years of doing this is at day 54. So I'd say your safe. Usually I see heads on day 56 or 57.

You could always foster them out to another Mother hen while your gone. They'll sit on just about anything round and white. ;) Not to mention, give you some time to stretch those legs! :gj:

You'll be fine. :gj: I left my eggs for 10 days during my wedding, although it was more in the middle of the duration; it was probably the best thing for the eggs because I wasnt around to disturb them! :P;)
