my goldie is black

So the other day i split up my golden and my tokay and now my golden is spending alot more time out and about and is acting happier, however he is now black. from everything i read on these geckos, black is their "holy crap im stressed" color.


he lives in the exoterra 12x12x18 tank with a water fall and a rock he can hide in as well as a whole bunch of fake plants he can hide in too. Its about 85 in there all the time and the humidity varies from 65 to 89 (im having a tough time keeping it humid in there) he is a WC juevenile. he eats about 15 crickets a week.

what am i doing wrong or is this ok?:please:

I have a golden too - IMO I would say your Goldie is fine, just give him about a week to get resettled. Glad to hear that you separated the goldie & tokay. They will both be happier in the long run.

they seem alot happier my tokay is barking all night again. he like to bark.
