    Well...

    Purchasing F/T Options:

You can usually purchase F/T mice or rats from you local Pet store. You will be paying a premium though and in the end it usually costs less to buy in bulk online.

You can buy bulk from many places online. Some of the big ones are Rodent Pro, Big Cheese Rodents, or The Mouse Factory. I've personally used rodent pro and big cheese; I'd recommend big cheese over rodent pro.

Whether you choose F/T or feeding live its your choice. One way is not better than the other.

There are many threads going on here already that have explanations of how people go about thawing out their F/T items and presenting them to their snakes. I'd give you more details but I'm at work and can't do a big answer at the moment. :(

I feed F/T to all but one of my ball pythons. I have ordered from The Mouse Factory and from Big Cheese. I would choose The Mouse Factory over Big Cheese. :gj:

Well at pet stores frozens are usually a little cheaper than live rodents - but again if you buy online in bulk then you'll get more for your money (A frozen jumbo rat at a pet store here is $8 and its $2.50 online, I save hundreds ordering online). I think I use American Rodent, I think they have free shipping to some areas.

Its all up to you though, if you only have one or a couple snakes it could save you time/money because you could have a couple months supply sitting in your freezer so you don't have to go out and buy new live rodents every week - unless you breed your own.

I prefer feeding live... I guess its just because thats how a BP naturally feeds...

Start breeding your own rodents and you dont have to worry about paying for them....
