    Female feeding response?
I was just wondering, has anyone ever put one of their small males into one of their huge females enclosures, just to see the female strike at the male thinking hes food? Seems unlikely but you never know:taz:

Could also be a defensive strike?

I usually let my girls know its me(not food) before introducing a male.

Jas said he had a girl strike and hold a male he introduced. She let him go and there was no harm done but if they are anticipating a meal they might stike at the first thing they see.
    Rare but possible.

I've had it happen before... Once..

    But it was defensive.

    BAM.

    And later they were locked..

Such is the way of the world..
