    Scale rot or bad shed?
I got my snake about two weeks ago and it hasn't shed yet, but I did notice what looks like old shed still stuck in a couple places. Is this some form of scale rot or really old shed still stuck on?

Should I be concerned about this?

I am no expert, but it doesn't look like scale rot. It looks like dried skin from an old shed.

Not an expert either, but it does look like some left over shed ;)

Agree, looks like a bad shed to me.

It's just bad shed. Those are "dried out" scales from where the new skin came off with the old.

It should clear up with the next shed.

Thanks for comforting me back when I first posted this, and within two sheds it all came off and she is a happy, smooth little girl!
