Planning to get my first ball python
I really don't want to trust the local pet store so I want to find a breeder. I am looking for a normal and was wondering if anyone could suggest one. I live in Wisconsin and would like to find one near by to pick up rather than go through delivery, unless shipping doesn't cause any problems for the animal.

Shipping shouldn't be a problem for the snake. I don't know of any breeders in WI but I know one in MN! Just gotta give it a couple months... Otherwise, there's the NARBC show in Tinley Park (Chicago) coming up in October! :D

Shipping is not an issue for the snake. There are lots of breeders, even on this site, who could help you out; just look at the ad banners ;)

i have come to terms that I will need to order a snake and have it delivered. The only breeder I have found near me doesn't seem to have any Ball pythons at the moment.

Did you try garrick of crestedgecko.com?

He's one of the better breeders I know of in WI.
