today my snake reguritated (sp) a hamster. i know thier bad for the snake but thats all i had 2 days ago for feeding. today i picked up some feeder mice at a pet store 2 hours away. anyway i was wondering how long is it before i feed my bp again? i was told 2 weeks so its stomach acid can regenerate.

    I'd say a week to 10 days.

Question..If you knew they were bad for your snake why feed it anyway. Yod have been better off waiting 2 days a feeding a proper prey item.

Have you ever thought about keeping a small supply of frozen feeders in your home so that if you ever do run out of live you do not use an alternative prey item?

I feed only f/t so I never have to worry about this, but it would be a better alternative than feeding just whatever you have around. Also, if you do not have the correct prey items then I would imagine it would be better to just miss the scheduled feeding day by a couple of days until you can get the correct food.
