Two places to post classified ads? Why?

I posted an ad in the forums then noticed that module jump thing on the left had side of the home page and there is a section for ads in there too. What's the difference? Does one get more views than the other? Thx.

Thats funny...I just noticed that yesterday, and was wondering the exact same thing. Fauna has two separate classified sections as well.

The classifieds has always been there, but never really got any use. I believe there was announcement that it was going to be removed shortly.
