First Meal - I'm so happy!

Well, the little guy (who we have named Sekai) got his first meal in his new home today... and he did great. I was worried, since he's only been with us for 6 days and just finished a shed.

It was over in a matter of seconds - plopped the mouse in, and BAM - instant hit... I don't even think the little guy had all four feet on the ground! Whole ordeal (from the hit to the tail-tip disappearing down the gullet) in about 15 minutes... I think someone was hungry!

Sorry, pretty lame thread... but I had to share my joy with *someone*. :)

Congrats on the successful feed. It's not a lame thread at all, and it's always nice to see someone so excited over a first. I can still remember how exciting all those firsts were for me. ;)

Mine had his 6th meal with me yesterday and it was almost as exciting as the first one... I'm happy to know he's eating for you! Looks like you are doing things the right way, it is amazing to watch them grow! Congrats

It's great having your first snake, have his first feed.
Mine didn't want to eat when i first offered him.

So the next week i tried again, and instant take. My hand was still coming down and he tried to take it.
