Can one buy flexwatt locally?
Do any local hardware stores sell flex? Like homedepot, lowes, etc etc?

Don't know. You can always buy from Reptile Basics and ask Rich to attach the connectors for you! ;)

Rich is seriously the man when it comes to running a business; I just placed an order with him to try out his new hides and pick up some other husbandry items and like always he shipped the next day.

Re: Can one buy flexwatt locally?
The only place I would think you could buy flexwatt NOT online, is at a reptile show. I have never seen it in any "regular" store (e.g. hardware stores, etc). The closest I have seen is those stick on heat pads similar to the Zoo Med ones.
I will chime in to say that I have ordered from Reptilebasics several times always with perfect results... no complaints here. Always ask them to crimp the metal connectors for you. I didn't realize they would do that for you the first time I ordered... And trust me the crimper makes a much better connection than needlenose pliers will.

I know in Mass that ColdBlooded pets sells flexwatt in the store. That's the only place where i've seen it on display. I ordered mine from Rich and it showed up in a couple of days already wired.

Check out The Bean Farm, they have great prices on flexwatt and are quality herpers also.
