Big Breeders and Price matching

Does anybody know if some of the bigger breeders match prices with some of their larger competitors? I'm not talking about a big name guy matching Joe schmoe down the block but Big name guy matching another big name guy. What are your thoughts?

Nope....every animal is different and therefore will have a different price. Sure they will be inline with what the market is but not exact.

These are unique animals not washing machines. :D

I agree with what the poster above said, but negotiating is the shoppers perogative. If you want to use a big breeder with a lower price as a means to try and negotiate I don't see whats wrong with that from a business point of view. It may not work but you never know...

Every breeder is different. The worst they could say is no. Give it a try.

Exactly. all they can do is say no. If interested at all, you should always contact the breeder and be up front. They may not be able to get to the price you are looking for, but they may have something else available that you don't know about.

the answer is maybe... I advise you look for the perfect animal first and formost, don't follow the price to heavily.
