    Is this safe to use?
I purchase a chlorhexidine gluconate %2 product from shoppersdrug mart called Rougier-Vap. It is a disinfectant and is used for acne. The main ingredients for this product is %4 Isopropyl alcohol, FD&C red #40 and purified water. Is this safe to use to clean my enclosures? Do i have to dilute the solution? Thanks in advanced for the help!

You might check with your local farm or tractor supply. Any place that the farmers and cattlemen got to get supplys I can garentee they will carry it

Are the dye and alcohol dangerous? I heard of people using isopropyl for disinfecting before, and I havent heard of anything bad comming from red dye yet. Do you think these will hurt my buddies?

Unless someone on here who knows a lot about chemicals and disinfectants comments then it may be safer just to use something that you know is safe for your snake.

Maybe just disinfect with a bleach/water solution until you get a definite answer here.
