I've joined the club!

Hey! I got a call yesterday saying that one of my normal girls that's on a breeding loan laid a clutch of 7 large eggs (all fertile) Wednesday evening! I'm so excited!! I didn't end up getting any clutches of BP eggs last year (according to the ultrasound, I was SUPER close to an ovulation...but no dice), so this is the first clutch of eggs to be laid by one of my snakes. Last year, this girl laid 6 eggs for her previous owner. Is it normal for them to increase clutch size? She was imported as a baby in 2002, but eats like there is no tomorrow. Her previous owner had her since she was a hatchling and I bought her last summer (along with another proven breeder that has the same history as her).

Anyway, I'm just glad that I will get some baby Ball Pythons this year!!

She was bred to a cinny and a mojave.

Congratulations, Eric! Very happy for you! As to your question, if she's bigger than last year, I would think it would make sense that she'd lay more than last year.

Thanks Rab! That must be it because she was slightly smaller than she was last year when I dropped her off last October, so she would have been a lot bigger when she laid eggs (which makes sense).

Both (or either) would be great. I'm planning on selling all of the babies that I get because I'm saving up for a BP right now that's going to put a big dent in my pocket (so the hatchlings will help me pay for it)... If I had to choose one, it'd have to be Cinnys because his Cinnys are some of the best that I've seen!
