    Aye, blue means when in shed. Her usual colour is glossy black but she has a lovely metallic sheen to her when in blue, i'll get some pics up when she sloths this old skin :gj:

    That is one gorgeous snake! Normally I don't like dark snakes, but solid black is an exception!

    And yes, blue = shed time. 'In Blue' refers to the fact that (most) snakes eye caps turn opaque blue when the old skin is 'separating'.

    Gorgeous, I love how cool they look when in blue. A reason they could be calm is due to inability to see, their vision gets cloudy and probably changes their behavior a little bit, I know my snake is less flighty when in blue.
