Re: What do your BPs weigh?
Question, how do they eat 2 every 7 days? Do you just feed one, wait till its down in the tummy and then go for another?

She most likely means she feeds two mice in one sitting every seven days.;)

I feed them each one mouse and by the time the 2nd snake is eating the 1st snake fed is ready for the 2nd mouse. There has only been one time with each snake where they weren't interested in the second mouse ;)

Re: What do your BPs weigh?
Yep. You wait until they've readjusted their jaws and are searching around and then offer the next one. :)
Hmm, my BPs are various sizes and ages, but let's see...
My 13mth old normal female weighs 512g (finally over 500). And my 9mth old rescued pastel male is 260g. :D
The three adults haven't been weighed recently because I keep forgetting. I'll do it tomorrow and post their weights.
Re: What do your BPs weigh?
Hi Lena- it is my observation that they all grow at different rates. I have year olds and nearly year olds who range from a tiny 209g (problem child) to a hefty 1200g :O Most are in the 500-900g range.
Re: What do your BPs weigh?
They are variable in their weight...
I have two young snakes. One male that is a mid 07, and he is around 450g, and I have a late 07 female that is very small, she is just 160g.
I recieved three males, all late 06's, March of last year... all 3 were 350-400g.
Now those 3 males are 1000g, 1100g, and 1600g. The difference in the 1000g, and the 1600g is striking!
Sounds like yours are doing good, and having a good scale is criticial. If you ever need to see your vet, having feeding schedules and weights is great information to be armed with. :)
