fedex.. out of the way?

I shipped a snake yesterday from here in NY to PA.. for arrival today. I went to track her today.. she is in Tenessee?? Talk about out of the way! But i guess they have a system or something to their madness..

Everything shipped from state to state on the east coast generally goes to Tennessee. The main Fedex sort faculity for the Eastern US is in Tenn.

im sure there is a method to their madness =]

Awesome! I had a conniption this morning. I was just about to leave for work.. and a Fedex truck pulls down the driveway!! I about flipped, thinking that they sent her back to me.. but it was only my landlord's dumb cable box. Yay!

Daniel is right. Their main sort facility is in Tenn.
It is kind of funny to ship something from Texas to Washington state and have it get there by way of Tenn.
