But one day it would be really nice to breed snakes for a living, instead of designing web pages for the gov...

I've heard it's addicting! I'd love to get into snake breeding too one day, when I get enough room ^_^

I always worry about converting hobbies to a full time business. What if you grow to hate what it is you currently love to do? Maybe jobs are supposed to be dull, to make things like snake breeding seem more fun :)
