    Wish me luck!
Well the joey came OOP about one week ago, and they are now leaving it alone at night while they eat (which seems a little early to me, but I'm not hearing any crabbing so I'm not too worried yet). I took it out for the first time today for a quick look, its still so small so I didn't want to get too up in its face but it looks female.
Once its weened (and if its female) then this joey and its mom will be going to my aunt and cousin. It will be sad to see them go but I just do not have the time for 4 sugar gliders and my aunt is the only person I would ever trust with them, they had a pet rat that they spent time with everyday and they spent hundreds in vet bills on him, its nice to see people that committed to a pet.

    Upset!

Well, wish me luck with the little guy. The parents did well with Moofy but its still gets me nervous having such a little guy around, they're so fragile, so many things can go wrong :(

With that first picture...if you'd told me you were holding a baby bat, I probably would have believed you at first glance.

Moofy is about 6 months old I believe? Maybe a little older.. They can actually start mating a couple weeks after their first joey(s) come OOP, I noticed the little lump from this joey about 3 months after Moofy was on his own. Its strange, they're usually supposed to have 2 joeys at a time and this is the second time my mama has only had 1 in the pouch.

It is crazy looking! They started leaving this one alone earlier than when they had Moofy, I never saw Moofy when his eyes were still shut, its very strange looking

The parents seemed to do very well with Moofy, this time I was scared because now its mama, papa, and Moofy. I was worried if this would not be a good situation but the other night I saw the parents out in the cage eating and Moofy was babysitting the joey, so everything looks good.
