Incubation time related to egg size?
I checked on my clutches this weekend as I have one clutch that is due to hatch tomorrow, but it looks like it might still have a few more days to go. It's a small clutch of 5 eggs, but they are all very LARGE eggs. :)

Anyway, I peeked in on the next clutch that is due in about a week and I saw a little head peeking out. That clutch had 8 eggs that were relatively small.

I was just wondering if larger eggs might need more time? It would seem to make sense being that there's more snake to make, but I wondered if anyone else experienced this or if it's just a fluke?

I would imagine that the cells multiply at the same rate, regardless of size of the snake.

the cells that are constantly dividing, dont know how big the snake will be, they just do what they do.

I would be that they take longer, becuase they have more fluid in them, more yolk.....eh i dont know.
