!help! substrate in my lady's mouth
well to start off i use the zoo med eco earth coconut bark substrate in my boa's enclosure, this evening i went to get her out and she had substrate all in her mouth, im not sure why she had it in her mouth and im not sure what to do just yet, this is why im posting here, im really hoping she didnt swallow it in fear of her possibly having respiratory problems... please help!

Well I use the same stuff in my GTP's cage and it is really fine so how much could there really be in there? I guess I just can't imagine it. Try to brush it off and if you can't, I doubt it will be a major issue.

If their stomach acid can break down bones, hair, flesh and teeth a lil coconut bark wont hurt.
