    So this beautiful tail will turn brown?
    So most BCI tails turn brown huh? That's unfortunate, but I love her anyway. Could anyone post a pic of a an adult brown tail?

    Yeah, it'll "brown" up but it won't turn quite brown. Does that make sense? Hope so.

    Thanks for the pics Edie. That is exactly what I was looking for. So just a really dark resish brown from the looks of it. These are awesome animals no matter what the color (see pic 2!).

    Check out the hypo boas if you want that red color to stay... or a "True" red tail from the subspecies Boa constrictor constrictor.
