I think my snake thinks he's a cat!

My snake seriously seems to overly enjoy being out and about and never wants to leave my side. Its kinda cute. When ever someone is holding him and I am close he goes out of his way to get to me... If he is out he explores but always seems to watch where I am/go and if I move even a little he comes over and checks out what happened... If I am even close to the tank he hurrys out of his hide and seems to look at me like "Hey, mom I am here, come and get me!" LOL

Anyone else think I am crazy or have simular experiences??
Just thought I would ask.

Yes, I agree with the anthropomorphizing. However, we protect what we love.

I have to agree with all of you but still I love him so i doesn't bother me to much I thought is was cute!
