    Opinions on sand boas temperment?
I have always wanted one of these little fellows. I've done more than my share of research on them as far as husbandry goes. Its as basic as you can get. I have come close to snatching one of these little beauties up numerous times. I really like that stay small and chubby like a juvie bp. I handle my animals on a regular basis, on average are kenyan sand boas calm slow moving snakes? Or do they slip all over and around like a corn snake?

    Thanks

KSBs are very slow and deliberate animals. Sometimes they do get a bit nervous if they think they are about to fall and they'll flail their head around a bit, but that's just because they're burrowing animals and being up high can be scary. My KSBs have never bitten me.

They're usually quite tame, just shy. Since they are very terrestrial they won't show much flexibity during handling, which makes handling them a very different experience compared to handling other boas, pythons, and colubrids (not that it's bad or anything).

Exactly what I was thinking, mine have flailed around a little when I've taken them out before but then they usually calm down.. I've never been bitten either and even if one did bite I can't imagine that it would hurt much

Ive been bit by my normal SB, and he tries to think he has some girth to back up his attitude but he fails. My Anery SB on the other hand is very docile and calm.
