first ever feeding

Hey everyone,
well as you know i bought a day old spider from bob clark on 5-26-08. Well he shedded today and i was wondering the best way to offer the rat pinkie.

Live or P/K? If live, just place it in his cage near his hide. If P/K, just dangle it a few inches from the entrance to his hide... he'll do the rest. ;)
