We have eggs!!!!

We are terribly excited over here, Probably only about 2 1/2 more weeks before hatching!!

This was from last week, at this point the parents had probably only been incubating them for a day or two. Before I took pics I tried candling them but didn't see anything (but then again you won't see anything until about 5-10 days into the incubating process!! But I just wanted to check.). A quarter is in this one for a size reference.

And a pic that I took yesterday while cleaning my cockatiel's area (they get a good sized space in my house!!:P). I was trying to take this pic while keeping the parents away... LOL!! The eggs are the same size, so no size reference in this pic. This is (I believe) it for the clutch. Chloe hasn't layed any more in a few days, plus this is (on average) the max size for a clutch, 6 eggs. I did candle a few of them and the ones that I candled look really good. I didn't take pics of the candling, my camera probably wouldn't pic up anything from it anyway:(.

I really love my cockatiels, so much personality and so much fun to just sit and watch sometimes!! Really fun and interactive birds!!

My daughter asks me everyday when they are going to hatch...LOL!! But I am anxious to see them hatch as well!!

Your tiels must be real tame as the pair i had if i even looked in the nesting box she threw a egg out :(.They look great :gj:.We need updated pics as they hatch out and grow ;).

Are you planning to keep all of the babies or sell them?

Personally, I don't feel that breeding your birds, whether they are pets or not, is a good idea. But I won't get into that since I would probably offend some people.
