No difference;) No matter what order you should get a 50% split of pastels and normals.

When breeding a T- and T+ together all of the offspring will look normal. Both genes are recessive so all of the babies will carry both genes.

Now I believe the homo T- and T+ has not been born. (Tuff odds) I am definitely curious as to what the cross will look like...and I have heard from some people they believe it wont be possible (The genes will cancel each other out)

But I have been shocked with genetics before :D

My advice would be to go with the pastel male and normal female. That way if you decide to pick up another normal you can get a female and still make more pastels. If you get the pastel female, you'll be kind of stuck...unless you get a spider male or such to breed her to! :gj:

Exactly what i was going to say

Its also cheaper to buy an older normal female and faster than buying a female pastel and waiting 2+ years

    my 2 cents

I am no expert but I believe this will help-

In T+ (Tyrosinase - Positive) albinism the tyrosinase enzyme is present. Pigment cells are unable to produce melanin; however, tyrosine is still produced. Tyrosine is a chemical that takes part in the melanin making process which causes a purple coloration. T+ albino is known as the Caramel in ball pythons.

T- (Tyrosinase - Negative) does not produce melanin at all which results in a white and yellow snake like the "regular" albino ball pythons.

    PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG ! ! ! ! !

it hasnt been totaly proven that a caramel albino is a t+....no one has done the tests as of yet so they may not cancel out each other.
