Here's my cat Steve. He gets a mohawk during the summer to help him keep cool. He has really long thick fur and it gets hot here during the summer. He was a rescue from the pound as a kitten about four years ago. He's really laid back and is cool because he knows his name and always comes when you call him, sometimes I swear he was a person in another life.
The other one is Mary. We got her last summer from the pound as well. She was about 9 months old when we got her and had just had a litter of kittens. The kittens were all adopted out, but no one wanted her. She was just too cute and chill to pass up. She's probably the dumbest cat ever, but is also the sweetest.

Steve and Mary finally getting along (Steve hated Mary first time we brought her home; this was the first time we saw them sleeping together and ever since they've been inseparable.) Also this pic is from the winter so Steve's mohawk is all grown out.
