i dont know what i should do

well my bp didnt eat last week.now tomorrow is feeding day and im not sure if i should try again or not.he is slightly dull like he is starting to shed but not really dull.i havent taken his hide out to look at his eyes yet.usually when he sheds i never see his head for the whole cycle but hes still poking his head out every once in a while but i havent seen him out looking to eat.i havent taken him out or anything so i dont know if he is really in shed or not but i dont know what to do.any suggestions

I would just try feeding again. Has he eaten for you in the past? If he's in shed he may or may not eat for you. Mine will eat regardless, but some won't. If you are feeding f/t, then try leaving it in there overnight if possible.

no this is only the second time he refused food the first time was because the previous rat was a little too big and he wasnt hungry.he has eaten every week like clockwork since i got him in november.i guess ill try again i just want to have to kill another rat myself

I would try and feed him again, whats the harm in offering him a meal?

yea maybe ill take his hide out and look at his eyes to see whats up with him later tonite
