    Feeding Question
For those of you who feed outside of the tank, how do you manage to get the snake back in his enclosure without being bitten? Wouldn't they still be in food/strike mode??

I am wondering the best way to feed nate so that he doesn't swallow substrate, but I really don't like the idea od newspaper or papertowels.

    Any other suggestions?

    Thanks

When I got my first bp I fed her once in another inclosure but it was such a pain getting her back into her normal one. Since then I've fed all my snakes in their enclosure. I use newsprint so I don't have a problem with the substrate being swallowed. I can't imagine a little bit of its to bad for them considering they can digest whole rodents.
