My new pickup...

I saw an ad for this girl on craigslist. The story is that she was apparently a gravid import, then after dropping her clutch, she was sold at a reptile expo. The guy who bought her admitted it was an impulse buy. He breeds crested geckos and didn't have any experience with balls. He has had her for a few weeks and she hasn't eaten, but she did have a full shed about 4 days ago. He decided he wanted her to go to a home with someone who has more experience with balls who could get her eating again. So, I picked her up for $50 and brought her home today. She has a pretty reduced pattern, only 3 or 4 spots that I can see. She weighed in at 1674 grams and seems to be in great health! Of course I am still quarantining her, but here are a few pics I snapped before putting her in her new tub to settle for a week or two...

Yes I did, why? I picked her up from a guy in Absecon, right outside Atlantic City...

Yeah, I weighed her again after my initial post. Apparently she wasn't all the way in the weighing tub when I weighed her the first time. She's actually 1698 grams. I'm gonna let her settle for a week, then I think I'm gonna try a live small mouse. I figure, trying her on live and something smaller than she's used to might spur on that feeding response. I think part of why she didn't eat for the guy that had her before was because she was going through a shed. He hadn't tried to feed her after. But thanks for the replies... She really is a beauty...
