This is why you do not allow yourself to become distracted while working with bigger snakes:

Fortunately this is not a terribly bad bite.

In the snake's defense, she tried to eat my hand as gently as possible, and is normally a gem once you get past the feeding response.

Also, Robin, Christie, Deborah & Emily all get their "what to do when a 16' retic grabs your friend" merit badges. A++++ ladies! Thanks for the "cleanup on aisle 5" last night. :gj:

Not terrible but it looks like a pretty good tag to me. That was a 16' Retic?

You think THAT'S impressive - you should have seen the snake that got her!

And it all happened in ultra slow motion. As Kara pulls the snake out and too the floor and bleeps out "get Kevin" and Christie runs one direction and I go the other! LOL And Deb and Em stayed with Kara - Em closing the enclosure and Deb shut the door. Keep in mind - there's still another large snake in the same enclosure.

I yell "Kevin!" He's like "yeah?" I say - "Kara has a retic wrapped around her hand". He goes "how big?" I'm like "Pretty damn big!"

We were all super impressed - she took it like a WOman!:bow::bow:
