Food Consumption

I know that I have seen this data somewhere but can't find the link.

Does any one know what is the food consumption for rats and mice?

I know mine vary by what I feed them. It seems like they eat alot more of their favorites (mostly chicken-based dog/cat food)and less of their lab block and any dog food that is made with lamb... Even when I mix it they pick thru it. If I put a cup of something they like in the cage, it is gone by the next day. If its something they like less, it can go a few days or more before being consumed.

I'm using Mazuri, and I remeber seeing an info about the amount of food for lab rats and mice.

For some reason i think its on the mazuri bag or there web site or something, can remember seeing a chart but absolutely no clue where sorry.

Rats 21g/day

I just fill their dishes whenever they're empty and salvage the lab block pieces when I clean. My rodents all get Mazuri block and Becky's mix with Science Diet senior.
