hot wax...

Ok so today is my husband Jeff's, 37th birthday. I decided to make him a nice dinner and a cake. I made grilled bbq chicken breasts, angel hair pasta with parm cheese, corn and a salad. I also made him a tripple layer fudge marble cake with chocolate fudge icing.

After dinner Sara (my oldest) got the cake out and I got the camera. She lit the candles and I turned the camera on and *bloop* it shuts off! The batteries were dead! go fig :rolleyes: So I got some more in and we sang Happy Birthday...

He took forevras to make a wish! But finally did and blew the candles out.

And then it happened...Sara took the candles off the cake and wasn't paying attention to the fact hat they had burrned for so long they had burned down into the candles and as she took them off the cake she dripped hot wax across Jeff's arms!

He was fine..it wasn't a lot but it was enough to make him yell!

We all laughed of course. Sara laughed so hard she was crying! Here is Sara and Jeff after.

Sara...is growing up way too fast. :tears: and thank you...she is as beautiful inside as well as out. I am so very proud of her. Did you hear she is going to be on the JV Wrestling team for her high school!
